Born from a vision in Denmark and brought to life in Peru, ELVAPACA brings together two worlds: the understated elegance of Scandinavian design and Peru's rich heritage of alpaca craftsmanship.

ELVAPACA began with a mother's perspective.

As a mother of two, I became increasingly aware of the little things that matter when dressing a child: how a garment feels against their skin, how comfortably it fits, and how beautifully it accompanies the everyday moments of childhood.

I wanted to create pieces that brought together what I value most: exceptional natural materials, timeless design and the comfort little ones deserve.

That personal wish became ELVAPACA — a Danish babywear brand inspired by the softness of nature, the simplicity of Scandinavian design and the beauty of childhood.

A Name Close to Our Hearts

ELVAPACA carries a little piece of our family within its name, a blend of Elvira, Valdemar and alpaca. Inspired by my two children, the name reflects the love that started this journey and the natural softness at the heart of everything we create.

What began as a personal idea has grown into a vision for timeless babywear, thoughtfully designed for little ones and the moments that matter most.

Our vision comes to life in Peru, home to a long-standing tradition of working with alpaca fibre. Prized for its softness, natural warmth and lightweight feel, baby alpaca offers a distinctive combination of comfort and understated luxury.

Made from 100% baby alpaca fibre, our collection celebrates the natural qualities of this exceptional material. We work with Peruvian Traditions to bring our designs to life, combining our Danish design vision with specialist knowledge of alpaca knitwear and garment production.
